'How shall I ever tell Aunt Shaw?' she whispered, after some time of delicious silence. 'Let me speak to her.' 'Oh, no! I owe it to her - but what will she say?' 'I can guess. Her first exclamation will be, "that man!"' 'Hush!' said Margaret, 'or I shall try and show you your mother's indignant tones as she says, "That woman!"'
hahaha yeeeeeah, I just reread North and South (awesome book!) by Elizabeth Gaskel. If you like Pride and Prejudice, you'll like this book (with a little more religiousness to it and politics).
Though I'm kind of dissatisfied with this picture because I don't think I got their characters down in this... For one, I can't seem to make my men look like MEN. They all have that touch of boyishness in them, which is NOT the way Mr. Thornton is supposed to look. Plus the scanner kinda killed it, I realize that I need to do something with their faces. But that will have to wait cause I'm going to be away for some time.
thank you Yeah they did dress very nicely back then. Though I don't know how I'd feel about those layers and layers of clothing and contraptions to make your dress poofy and whatever...
That's why you had double doors. I would be more worried about sitting. That would be so uncomfortable!! and so HEAVY! ugh. But it looked pretty I suppose. Why is it that guys always have it easier fashion wise??!!
You were afraid of not getting the image of John right because he was too attractive XD. I remember this conversation well because I wanted you to do a N&S Picture.
